7th April 2006
A month of planning on video for this day.
A week of preparation for this day.
A day of present search for this day.
A heart that shares our feeling.
A day of surprises appeared on this day.
A moment of joy and shock that was seen on this day.
A kiss to show her appreciation after dinner.
A right time to pop out the question.
And lastly.............................
A day I will remember forever.

Hi everyone out there, I am back once again. This time round I will be updating on my Industrial Training Programme (ITP).
I started my ITP on 6 March 2006 and I was attached to a company(K. C. Network) that no one would want to do for the rest of their life. I am working in a contraction site. Yup !!! Construction site, where you are able to see trucks moving around, forklift and many more heavy vehicles. It is a very very dusty environment with a canteen that you will think whether is it hygienic anot? Everyone will think that I should be located in the office doing some paper works or even just instruct the foreign workers to do their stuff and that’s it. But in actual fact my task is not that. I have to got to the site to run around the buildings (where they are not completed). It's kind of dangerous in a sense but there is safety supervisor walking around to ensure there the danger is minimize. It is an eye opener to see what is happening in the construction site.
My jobscope for this ITP is to open door for the other companies to access to the Local Area Network (LAN) room. Sounds simple??? There are 5 buildings that I have to run around to open the doors for them. I have to walk a very long distance from building to building. Oh ya forgot to tell you where I am working in, project is to build a new Republic Polytechnic (RP) in Woodlands.
Starting of the job wasn't that smooth..but when I get a hand of it. It seem simple. Then slowly I am involve in the testing team. Basically I am testing the physical layer of the network. Checking the point that are located around the rooms and labs. Then next we will stick a label on the point. Some times we also have problem finding the point base on the information on a A1 size drawing. So slowly we have to track down at least 100 over points before we can get the right point from the point to the patch panel in the LAN room. Kind of tough but its also kind of fun.
To summarize the whole ITP, I learn how to help the other companies when they are in need of help. Knowing how to recognise building numbers on the very first day of work. Able to learn how to use the tester when it comes to testing from point to point. Stands on your right and you will never go wrong.
